Live Football, Robert Morris Vs Lafayette Results

On Saturday the 14th of September, 2014 Lafayette delivered a crushing defeat of Robert Morris with the final score 50-3.

After coming off a loss to William & Mary in their last match, Lafayette was looking to secure another football victory bringing them to 5-5 in this year’s patriots league.

The Leopards quarterback Drew Reed had a great performance on the night, throwing two touchdowns as well as running a third.

Reed managed 149 yards with 14 of 26 having the leopards (1-1). Lafayette’s running back Ross Scheuerman was able to run a total of 173 yards off of 22 carries.

Adding to the domination that was Lafayette’s first quarter, Defensive back Jared Roberts was able to score with a 38-yard interception return. Reed then was able to take it from 5 yards securing another TD. Lafayette’s defence successfully forced a safety to extend the first-quarter lead to 16-0.

The Leopards were all on their A-game in this match, Linebacker Mark Dodd was able to pick another Luke Brumbaugh pass securing another score for his team to start off the second quarter. In the end, it was Adin Greenfield who managed the final score for Lafayette running a 17-yard touchdown at the start of the fourth quarter.

While the Colonials tried there best to make something happen throughout the contest, the team was only able to find one score which came via a 25-yard field goal by Hunter Khaleghi.

Robert Morris was not able to get the gameplan going being held to 102 yards throughout the match. Quarterback Luke Brumbaugh finished the match 11 of 23 for 60 yards, finding 3 interceptions.

This loss leaves Robert Morris 1-8 throughout this season only being able to find victory over Central Connecticut back in October. They will look to reevaluate the gameplan and attempt to close out the season in the green.
