The Lafayette Leopards will play host to The Bucknell Bison in a matchup that will see both teams attempt to capture their first win in the Patriot League.

After a dominating loss to Georgetown last week The Bison’s are looking to capture a victory here against the Leopards. R.J Nitti showcased an impressive 300+ yards thrown in their last match, becoming only the second Bison to do so in the last 20 years and only the 11th person in the program’s history.

While the Bison’s played very well, controlling the game outgaining the Hoyas 412-288 they were unable to execute where it counted. only securing 7 of 23 third down, converting only one in four opportunities in the red zone.

The Leopards are looking to put the past behind them after a shutout loss last weekend, making it two shutout losses in a row for the first time since 1971. Holy Cross’s passing attack seemed to be too strong for the Leopards, with Peter Pujals leading with six touchdowns.

The two teams will meet for their 88th matchup together this Saturday, While the Leopards have come out victorious for the majority of their contests (52-34-1), Lafayette has emerged victorious through 11 of their last 13 matchups.
