George Kambosos Jr. Predicts Devin Haney Will KO Ryan Garcia
George Kambosos Jr. expects Devin Haney to KO Ryan Garcia when they fight this weekend.
Garcia enters the bout as a sizeable betting underdog, and many expect Haney to win with ease. In the lead-up to the fight, many have been concerned on how Garcia is acting, which Kambosos admits is a bit of a concern.
“You don’t go into a fight against a guy like Devin Haney, who prepares 110% and is super focused and has a great team around him. You don’t go into a fight against him with those kinds of antics,” said George Kambosos Jr. to Fighthype.
Ultimately, George Kambosos Jr., who has fought Devin Haney twice, thinks Haney will be too much for Garcia. Kambosos expects Haney to piece up Garcia and eventually land the knockout shot.
“You don’t go in with your mind that crazy,” said Kambosos. “Devin will win that fight. I believe he will stop him. I think Ryan is a good kid. He’s confused at times. He’s telling everybody he made $100 million. As much as I like Ryan, my support is to Devin Haney, and he will get the job done in that fight…
“Devin can punch. He’s sharp. I think his punching power has progressed into the 140 division,” said Kambosos Jr. “We saw him put down Regis with a beautiful shot. I think that punching power is going to continue to get better. He’s 25. That power continues to get better as you get older. So, I think he can catch Ryan. Ryan has got his own power as well as incredible speed. Devin makes you fight at his pace the way he wants you to fight him. He picks you from the jab and picks you from the movement. It’s hard to hit him.”
