David Benavidez reveals 2026 plans if he can defeat Anthony Yarde
Boxing sensation David Benavidez has revealed a few of the big names he wants to fight next year if he can get through Anthony Yarde.
In his next fight on November 22nd, David Benavidez will lock horns with Anthony Yarde in Saudi Arabia. The 28-year-old currently holds a 30-0 record in professional boxing and as we look ahead to the future, it certainly feels like he has the potential to be one of the biggest stars in the game. He’s young, he’s hungry, and he has some big fighters shying away from the idea of fighting him.
While Anthony Yarde will serve as stiff opposition, many believe that David Benavidez will secure his 31st pro win before moving on to pastures new. Either way, he is one of the most talked-about boxers in the game right now, and he’s never been afraid to call out some pretty scary dudes.
In a recent interview, Benavidez spoke candidly when discussing what he wants next.
David Benavidez looks to the future
โWhat else is there for me left? In my opinion, a fight with Beterbiev or Bivol is next,โ said David Benavidez to Fight Hub TV. โThe fights that I want are Beterbiev and Bivol just because I want to challenge myself. I want to be the best without a doubt.โ
โIf I canโt get that, then my plan is to get a fight against Zurdo Ramirez at cruiserweight. Iโve been held back because these other fighters donโt want to give me an opportunity, because they know whatโs going to happen,โ said Benavidez.
