Devin Haney makes it clear he wants Ryan Garcia revenge

Devin Haney has made it crystal clear that he’s very interested in running it back with rival Ryan Garcia at some point in the future.
For the longest time, Devin Haney’s record was pretty perfect. He was unbeaten, he was a world champion, and nobody could touch him. In his meeting with Ryan Garcia, however, all of that changed. He was dropped multiple times before eventually being handed a decision defeat.
Thankfully for Devin Haney, that result was subsequently overturned to a no contest as a result of a positive drug test. Ever since then, the two men have been going back and forth at one another on social media and in interviews – eventually leading to both of them being booked to fight other opponents on the same card in Times Square.
On May 2, Devin Haney will fight Jose Ramirez and Ryan Garcia will battle Rolly Romero. In the press conference for the event, however, Haney took some time out of his day to focus on Garcia.
Devin Haney wants Ryan Garcia rematch
“Of course, the big fight is Ryan Garcia, but I can’t look past Jose Ramirez,” said Devin during today’s press conference in Los Angeles.
“I know he’s a tough competitor and he’s coming to win. To get to the Ryan fight, I’ve got to beat Jose Ramirez, and that’s what I’m looking to do. A better version [of Haney].
“I’ve been in the gym, working quietly behind the scenes ever since the Ryan fight, getting better, perfecting my craft and you’re going to see a new and improved version of Devin Haney. My main focus is Jose Ramirez and then lining it up with Ryan Garcia,” said Haney when asked if the punishment Ryan was given for testing positive was enough in his eyes.
“Whatever punishment, that’s what it was and I look to punish him in the ring.”
