Eddie Hearn believes Terence Crawford should face Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis

Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn believes that Terence Crawford should consider a big money shoedown with Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis.

As we know, Terence Crawford is coming off a blockbuster win over Canelo Alvarez in their superfight last weekend. It was a truly tremendous triumph from Crawford against a man in Canelo who was much bigger, and was widely considered to be the favorite.

Now, of course, many are wondering what’s next for him. Crawford has had his fair share of disagreements with the masses over the years, and that includes the aforementioned Eddie Hearn. The British promoter has never been afraid to speak his mind, even when he’s talking a bit of trash to one of the greatest boxers to ever do it.

In a recent interview, Eddie Hearn gave his thoughts on what should be next for Terence Crawford if he opts to keep fighting.

Eddie Hearn’s view on Terence Crawford’s future

“Terence Crawford is only going to want to fight for big money, and there are only certain fights that can generate that kind of money,” said Eddie Hearn to Fight Hub TV about Terence Crawford’s limited options for his next fight.

“Crawford against Jaron Ennis, for me, is the best fight in American boxing. But it needs to be a payday to get him interested because Crawford knows how good ‘Boots’ is. He knows that is a real fight. But for me, ‘Boots’ is the new Crawford. We’ve just got to go out and get the fights to go out and show how great he is,” said Hearn.
