Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Crawford has stalled.

After Spence Jr. returned and beat Danny Garcia, many had hoped the fight against Crawford would finally happen. It is a fight many fans have wanted to see and one that should happen. However, according to Spence Jr., he says if the fight happens, the split would be 60-40 or even 70-30 in his favor.

“I think it could happen. We have to see how it goes,” Spence Jr. said (via boxingscene). “Al Haymon and Bob Arum need to sit down, and for Bob to stop lying. We’ll see. It definitely could happen next year. We just have to sit down and talk and go over the numbers and things like that. I’m the big dog in the welterweight division. He has to take a back seat and take that 60-40 or 70-30. Whatever we give him … Like I said, I can go up to 160 and fight Canelo Alvarez.”

After Spence Jr. said that, Crawford went to Twitter to blast the champ and prove to everyone it wasn’t him holding up the fight.

“And they said it was me. I rest my case now, on to the next. That chapter is now close,” Crawford tweeted.

Errol Spence Jr. is now 27-0 and retained his WBC and IBF welterweight titles with a clear-cut decision win over Garcia. It was his first fight since the car accident and first fight in over a year after he edged out a split decision over Shawn Porter. The 30-year-old also holds wins over Mikey Garcia and Kell Brook.

Terence Crawford, meanwhile, is 37-0 and coming off a TKO win over Brook back in November. He’s the current WBO welterweight champion and holds wins over Amir Khan, Jose Benavidez Jr., and Jeff Horn.
