Floyd Mayweather is hoping to sign Francis Ngannou to Mayweather promotions.

After Ngannou fought out his UFC contract and became a free agent, he has been vocal in his hopes to box. He eyed a fight against the likes of Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, or Anthony Joshua but it hasn’t come to fruition.

Although Ngannou doesn’t have a fight booked, Mayweather says he wants to sign the former UFC champ to Mayweather promotions.

“I would love to work with [Ngannou], I would love to sign him to Mayweather Promotions,” Mayweather said to BetOnline.ag. “He’s a very skilled guy…unbelievable…and if he wants to fight one of the top heavyweight guys, he should do it.”

If Floyd Mayweather can sign Francis Ngannou to his promotion, he would also like to help train him. He knows with Ngannou’s size and power he is already dangerous, but if he gets technically sound, Mayweather thinks Ngannou would make noise in the division.

“Absolutely. With his size, strength and power, anything can happen. With his power and his toughness he can make some noise in the heavyweight division,” Mayweather added.

As for Floyd Mayweather, he does not have a fight booked but has continued to do exhibition matches which he has said are legalized bank robbers for how much money he’s getting. His last pro fight came by TKO win over Conor McGregor to get to 50-0.
