Ryan Garcia hits back at Devin Haney and his dad over ‘skinny’ comments

Ryan Garcia has hit back at Devin Haney and his team over remarks that include calling him skinny as they both prepare to return to action this weekend.
For the longest time, Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney have been rivals. They have been at each other’s throats and whenever they spend any time together, it’s clear to see that there’s a genuine hatred between them. In their one and only professional meeting thus far, it was Garcia who picked up the win – although it was subsequently overturned to a no contest as a result of a positive drug test.
Now, Ryan Garcia – and Devin Haney – are both focused on getting back in the win column. They’ll both be part of the Times Square card this weekend in New York City, which promises to lead to fireworks.
In a recent interview, Ryan Garcia kept their rivalry bubbling nicely with a response to Haney in their latest back and forth.

“So, when he [Devin] says, ‘You look skinny,’ yeah, I cut way before. They’re trying to butter themselves up and make themselves more confident. That’s what it is. Again, he’s [Bill Haney] just trying to build up the fight. Build up the rematch and build up the belief in his son.
“His son doesn’t got no belief in himself. So, that’s exactly what he’s trying to do. He’s trying to find any edge, any angle. They know what the truth is. They know boxing. If you know boxing, you know what happened in the ring had nothing to do with no PEDs. His son got hit with the same shot a million times. That’s boxing. That ain’t no PEDs,” said Ryan Garcia about Devin Haney.
