Ryan Garcia’s father predicts his son will knock out Rolly Romero

Ryan Garcia, Rolly Romero

Ryan Garcia‘s father Henry Garcia believes that his son will knock out Rolly Romero when they collide tonight at the Fatal Fury event in Times Square.

On Friday night, Ryan Garcia is back in action on the big stage. He will attempt to get his career back on track in New York City when he collides with Rolly Romero in what promises to be a fascinating encounter. Alas, while ‘King’ is considered by many to be the favourite, you can’t count out someone like Rolly – even though plenty of people are opting to do so.

For Ryan Garcia, this is a chance to prove that he can still mix it up with the big boys. In a recent interview, his father gave his thoughts on how this whole thing could play out.

Ryan Garcia’s father makes big prediction

“My prediction is Ryan will stop Rolly. Yes, first quarter. If he hits him solid, he’s out,” said Henry Garcia to MillCity Boxing.

“When Ryan is focused like he is now, he’s a very dangerous fighter. He probably won’t be gunshy right away, but as soon as he’s countered, I think he will be gunshy,” said Henry about Rolly being cautious about fighting aggressively against Garcia due to the danger of being hit with his left hook.

“He’s [Rolly] been dropped twice, and you don’t get away from that too much. It stays with you. It humbles you. Fighting Ryan, he’s not there to shake hands. He’s there to hit and knock you out. We just have to wait and see. Once a warrior, always a warrior, and Rolly has always been that way. He doesn’t shy away from anyone,” said Henry.
