Tyler Goodjohn Arrives In The USA Ahead Of His BKFC Debut

English former bare knuckle champion Tyler Goodjohn was seemingly retired from fighting, just a few months ago.

With a future aiming solely into the adult industry and away from the ring, Tyler made it clear he had no aspirations of fighting anytime soon.

The former boxer turned BKB featherweight champion stated if he was to return to the fight world, he would need an increase in pay to entice him back.

“BKB need me a hell of a lot more than I need them” Goodjohn said.

Since then, the undefeated bare knuckle fighter has partnered with Smith Brothers Fighter Management.

Goodjohn recieved an offer from them to fight in the world’s biggest bare knuckle fighting promotion, Bare Knuckle FC (BKFC) and has recently made his way over to the USA.

Ahead of his fight at BKFC 15, he arrived at the BKFC 14 weigh ins for what he described as a ‘scouting mission,’ watching the main event between the 155lbs champion Luis Palomino and challenger Jim Alers.

Goodjohn told Bare Knuckle News at the BKFC 14 weigh ins, “I’m just looking for the biggest and best fights.”

‘El Tornado’ predicts a victory from Luis Palomino this weekend, “from what I’ve seen, Palomino is that bit better technically, he looks a solid fighter.”

He believes Alers is game, likes a fight and is a tough fighter but you have to have more than that at this level.

In preparation for his USA debut in December, he has been training at DLX boxing, in Las Vegas, regularly sparring with a range of fighters.

An opponent for Tyler Goodjohn’s first BKFC fight should be announced in the coming days.
