Conor Benn calls out Ilia Topuria and any other UFC fighters for huge crossover boxing match

Conor Benn, Eddie Hearn

Conor Benn has called out Ilia Topuria, and any other UFC fighters, who may be interested in making the leap over into the world of professional boxing.

As we know, Conor Benn is an ambitious guy. If you don’t believe us, go back and watch his epic showdown with Chris Eubank Jr from earlier this year. While he may not have picked up the victory, he certainly did a great job of proving that he belongs on the big stage.

The two are set to run it back in November at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. For Conor Benn, this serves as another opportunity to upset the odds and set himself up for something even bigger.

As it turns out, though, Conor Benn has a particular problem with a certain section of the combat sports community right now – and that section is the world of mixed martial arts. In a recent post, he had the following to say.

Conor Benn calls out Ilia Topuria

If any of these f***ing UFC fighters want to come over to boxing,” Benn explained.

“Or any of these MMA lot want to come over to boxing, if you fancy somebody, you can come and get it…nasty.”

“F***ing bare-knuckle, bare-knuckle,” he added. “10 bar. Sign me up, I’ll fight anybody bare-knuckle.

“If anyone wants to come over from the UFC. I see a lot of talk about Ilia Topuria. Ilia, I’ve got these hands, brother.

“Anybody wants this smoke, anybody who wants to come over, no problem.”

“Listen, I ain’t stupid enough to go in the cage,” the 28-year-old concluded.

“I would never go in the cage, you’ll never catch me getting into the cage.

“Do you know why? Because then I’d get my a** handed to me, but for them to think they can come over and do that to us…that’s a f***ing liberty.”
