Dillian Whyte Admits He’s Running Out Of Time In Boxing Career

Whyte

Dillian Whyte is hopeful for an active 2024 as he knows he doesn’t have much time left in his career.

Whyte is 35 and coming off a stoppage win over Christian Hammer, in a fight he accused his opponent of quitting. Although Whyte got the stoppage win, he wanted to show off more skill than he did.

“He just quit, but what can I do?” Whyte said to BoxingSocial. “I’ve been through a lot of hell and a lot darkness so I had a lot of pent-up frustration and aggression and it’s funny, because the camp was calm, everything was calm and it had to come out at some point, that’s my nature, you know. It’s good to be back out and it’s good to get back to work. Obviously Hammer came out swinging and then the pitbull in me just bit back, then I was rushing and making stupid mistakes, but whatever.”

With Dillian Whyte getting the win, he improved to 30-3 and is now on a two-fight winning streak. At age 35, Whyte knows he’s in the final run of his career and says he needs to be active in 2024 as time is running out for him.

“Wherever I can be busy, then I’ll go there and fight. I’m running out of time. I’m not getting any younger. I don’t know what’s next, I just want to fight Let’s see what happens… It’s the game. I’ve got 14 dogs. That’s where I expect my loyalty from. My dogs are the only things that’s loyal to me in this life… Anyone. I’ve never turned a fight down, whoever wanted it could get it.”
