And whoever it is, I’ve been retired for 14 years. But guess what I’m pick the very best. I don’t care who it is. I will fight until the end, I will bleed until the end. And I will go down to the end.”

Mike Tyson, I love you. Because you inspired me… at 56 years old… to make me think and make me know that I can do it. You looked great. You feel great. You were amazing,” De La Hoya also said.”

“Regarding the commentary during my fight last night. I could be angry and I could laugh too but addiction is no joke, I know. I sincerely hope that those around Oscar get him the help he needs. He was a great champion & ambassador for boxing. I’d like to think he can be again,” Mir said about De La Hoya.

Given De La Hoya’s history with drugs and alcohol, the way he acted on Saturday left many hoping he gets the help he needs.
