Gervonta Davis Named As Hit & Run Driver That Hospitalized Four People

Boxing superstar Gervonta Davis was the driver in a November hit-and-run incident in Baltimore that hospitalized four people according to a police report obtained by The Baltimore Sun.

Davis and all other parties involved in the crash were named in the report. No charges have been filed more than four months since the incident. This is despite the fact the report states Davis was behind the wheel of his Lamborghini Urus SUV with two other passengers in the early hours of November 5 when it ran a red light and struck a 2004 Toyota Solara. All three occupants of the Lamborghini then fled the scene.

The 26-year-old boxer is labeled as “at fault” in the police report and was named as the driver after law enforcement gathered eyewitness statements and surveyed CCTV footage.

According to authorities, the Toyota was “destroyed”. One of the four passengers inside suffered a suspected serious injury. The other three are thought to be dealing with less serious injuries. All of them were taken to the hospital for treatment after the crash.

Davis has not yet been charged but the investigation remains “ongoing.”

“The investigation into the hit-and-run accident is still ongoing,” Lindsey Eldridge, the Baltimore police department’s chief spokesperson said. “The department has turned over findings to the state’s attorney’s office, and we are working closely to gather and determine any charges that may be pending as a result of this incident.”

‘Tank’ was fresh off the biggest win of his boxing career when this incident took place. In October, Davis scored a spectacular knockout win against Leo Santa Cruz to claim the WBA (super) super featherweight title. Since then he has been linked to mega-money fights with Devin Haney, Teofimo Lopez and Ryan Garcia.

Do you think Gervonta Davis will be charged in this case?
