Hafthor Bjornsson is well known for becoming the ‘World’s Strongest Man,’ as well as his memorable performance as ‘The Mountain,’ on Game of Thrones.
But Bjornsson has since put a focus towards lacing up the gloves and preparing for his a fight with fellow ‘World’s Strongest Man’ winner, Eddie Hall.
This exhibition saw Bjornsson compete in a three round fight against Steven Ward.
The fight took place in Dubai and went the distance, after three rounds of action.
Post-fight, Belfast’s Steven Ward didn’t hold back on what it feels like to be hit by 24 stone Bjornsson.
“What a night. The exhibition is over, and big Thor hits like a horse,” Ward said.
“It was a great set-up, and it was class having a crowd finally back watching boxing.”
With September 2021 lined up for Bjornsson vs Hall, Hall has made comments towards ‘the heaviest fight of all time.’
“I’m training for this fight like I trained to be the strongest man in the world,’ Hall said.
“As for the fight itself, I have zero doubt in my mind that cry baby Thor is getting folded in half and sent packing back to Iceland.”
This fight has plenty of animosity going into it, because both men have something to prove.
A question on many people’s minds, who would win if the two strongest men in the world met inside the ring.
In September, we will hopefully find out.
A venue is yet to be confirmed, however, the bout will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Who do you think is going to win this fight, Hafthor Bjornsson or Eddie Hall?
