Holly Holm signs with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions
Former UFC champion Holly Holm is returning to her boxing roots – and she’s doing so under Jake Paul‘s Most Valuable Promotions banner.
As we know, Holly Holm has achieved some incredible things throughout the course of her combat sports career. While newer fans may only know her from her days in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, she had a decorated run in professional boxing before making the transition over to mixed martial arts.
At the age of 43, many wondered what exactly would be next for Holly Holm. Now, we have an answer – she will be boxing under the Most Valuable Promotions banner, and she will return to the ring as part of the Jake Paul vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr undercard.
She’ll go head to head with Yolanda Vega in a 10-round lightweight bout contested over two-minute rounds.
Holly Holm prepares for return to squared circle
“This new chapter is going to be an exciting journey, and I’m looking forward to the challenge,” said Holm.
“Coming full circle back to boxing… I’ve spent most of my MMA career at 135 pounds (9st 9lb), and now I have the opportunity to make my boxing debut at that weight.
“With boxing titles in three higher weight classes under my belt, I’m eager to pursue a fourth title in a new division.”
