Jessie Magdaleno vs. Yenifel Vicente: Full Results

Top Rank Boxing returns today with the second card of its summer series, which takes place inside the Grand Ballroom at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas.

Headlining tonight’s four-fight event is a featherweight bout between former WBO super bantamweight champion Jessie Magdaleno (27-1, 18 KO) and Yenifel Vicente (36-4-2, 28 KO). The 28-year-old Magdaleno comes into tonight’s fight on the back of two straight featherweight wins after defeating Rico Ramos and Rafael Rivera. Vicente should prove a decent enough challenge, but the matchup looks to be more a stay-active fight for Magdaleno.

Opening the card will be a ten-round featherweight bout between Adam Lopez (13-2, 6KO) and Louie Coria (12-2, 7 KO) for the vacant NABF featherweight title. This is Lopez’s first fight since his TKO loss to Oscar Valdez last November.
