Joseph Parker questions Anthony Joshua over possible Jake paul fight
Heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker has questioned Anthony Joshua over the possibility of him facing Jake Paul in a boxing match.
As we know, Joseph Parker is one of the top heavyweight boxers in the game today. He’s put together a nice win streak as of late and as we look ahead to the future, it certainly seems as if he could be on track for a major world title opportunity at some point next year.
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, seems to be focusing his attention on a possible showdown with Jake Paul. At one point, that sentence would’ve seemed absolutely insane – but we live in a world where it’s a real possibility, and Joseph Parker is understandably a bit baffled by that.
In a recent interview, Joseph Parker spoke openly about his former foe possibly taking on ‘The Problem Child’.
Joseph Parker’s view on Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul
“AJ was a great champion when he was a champion. If he is serious about boxing and is serious about wanting to be involved in the sport at the top level, that fight doesn’t make any sense at all,” said Parker to Sky Sports Boxing about Joshua vs Paul.
“Jake Paul has done well to promote himself, and saying he’s one of the best in the world. But if you look at it, he’s not really a real boxer. He’s a YouTuber coming to boxing, and he’s done well. But if AJ wants to be serious, then he has to fight the top fighters in the world,” said Parker.

Heavyweight boxing is in a pretty interesting place right now, and who knows, maybe we’ll see Parker and Joshua run back their 2018 collision one day. If so, you’d have to think there will be a bit of extra spice behind it now.
