Mairis Briedis Gets Jake Paul Tattoo, Calls Out The YouTuber

Mairis Briedis, the IBF cruiserweight titleholder from Latvia, got a Jake Paul tattoo and called out the YouTuber for a fight.

Briedis posted a video on his Instagram where he called out the YouTuber to box him as he is shown entering a tattoo parlor and getting ink on his left thigh bearing Paul’s name.

“Today we make some crazy scenes,” Briedis said at the start of the video. “Let’s go and see what’s happening, Jake.”

The tattoo depicts the head of a bull with red eyes with the words “Jake’s Bad Karma” bordering the top and bottom of the head.

“Hey Jake, I’ve got something for you,” Briedis later said, as he flashed his fresh tattoo. “Jake, now it’s your turn.”

Although Mairis Briedis is a current boxing world champion, he doesn’t have the biggest name in the sport so it’s uncertain if Jake Paul is interested in the fight. Yet, if the former Disney actor wants to be a world champion, this is his chance as he could claim the IBF, and The Ring cruiserweight belts.

Briedis (28-1) is coming off a TKO win over Artur Mann to defend his belts. He’s on a five-fight winning streak as his lone loss came by majority decision to Oleksandr Usyk which showed just how good he is. In his career, he holds notable wins over Mike Perez, Marco Huck, Olanrewaju Durodola among others.

Jake Paul (5-0) is coming off a highlight-reel KO win over Tyron Woodley in December after the two fought back in August which Paul won by split decision. The 24-year-old also holds knockout wins over Ben Askren, Nate Robinson, and Nate Robinson.

Would you like to see Mairis Briedis vs. Jake Paul for the titles? And, who do you think would win?
