Oleksandr Usyk is baffled by Tyson Fury’s claim of 2026 trilogy fight
Heavyweight boxing sensation Oleksandr Usyk has laughed off talk of a trilogy fight against Tyson Fury next year.
As we know, Oleksandr Usyk holds a 2-0 record against Tyson Fury – and the same is true for his series against Anthony Joshua. On Saturday night, he’ll attempt to do the exact same thing when he battles Daniel Dubois for the second time. The two will collide at Wembley Stadium and while we all know how much Dubois has improved from their first meeting, the majority of fight fans still believe Usyk will be able to come away with the win.
One person who doesn’t seem to be paying too much attention to this fight, though, is Tyson Fury. Instead, he’s busy declaring that he’s going to have a third fight against Oleksandr Usyk at some point in 2026 – even though there would be no real logic behind that kind of contest being made.
In a recent interview, Oleksandr Usyk gave his thoughts on this fight actually taking place.
Oleksandr Usyk laughs off Tyson Fury trilogy talk
“I don’t judge Tyson Fury, but I don’t know what’s going on,” said Oleksandr Usyk to the Stomping Ground, reacting to him saying that they’re fighting in a trilogy match in 2026.
“I don’t know, now I don’t think about this,” said Usyk about a fight between him and Tyson in 2026.
“We have a fight in 2026? You crazy guy! After the fight (against Dubois), we [will speak] about this,” Usyk said about Fury’s comment of fighting him next year.

While Usyk may not be everyone’s cup of tea, nobody can deny what he’s done for the heavyweight division. He has been an incredible champion and regardless of whether or not he beats Dubois again, his legacy is there for all to see.
