It was a rough night for the father of Billy Joe Saunders.

Not only did Tom Saunders have to see his son fracture his orbital bone and eventually lose an eighth-round TKO to Canelo Alvarez in their super-middleweight title unification bout on Saturday night.

He also got shoved by security as he attempted to make his way to the ring following the contest.

As people have pointed out, the security guard was just doing his job given how the senior Saunders jumped the barricade and aggressively approached the ring.

Still, it made for interesting viewing especially with WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury being seen trying to deescalate the situation.
