George Kambosos Jr is expecting a dirty fight when he fights Richardson Hitchins, according to his father.

As we know, George Kambosos Jr is the kind of fighter who refuses to back down from a challenge. In fact, he thrives under pressure – and he’s done a phenomenal job of springing big upsets throughout the course of his career thus far. While he’s also tasted defeat on a few occasions, he’s still one of the most interesting fighters around his weight class.

This weekend, George Kambosos Jr and Richardson Hitchins will collide in a highly anticipted showdown in New York City. There’s been a decent amount of trash talk between the two men and with a lot of unsold tickets out there, George hasn’t been afraid to blame Hitchins, with hardcore boxing fans being very interested to see how this one plays out.

George Kambosos Jr has fought some seriously tough guys over the years and Hitchins is expected to bring the heat too. Ahead of the bout, though, George’s father, George Kambosos Sr, gave his thoughts on the fight in a recent interview.

“A lot of things he says feels like he’s trying to motivate himself, trying to make himself bigger than he actually is,” said George Kambosos Jr. to DAZN Boxing, talking about Richardson Hitchins. “I know what’s coming.  A lot of the back of the head in heaps. Very dirty.”

“That’s the key shot. The right elbow. That’s what we’ve been working on. Low blows, right elbow and headbutts,” said Kambosos Sr. “That’s how we win in the fight. Guerilla warfare on the night. No rules on the night. That’s it. That’s all we’re doing. It’s going to be dirty. You watch and see.”
