Jake Paul

BJ Flores, the head coach of Jake Paul, is confident his pupil will make a statement on Sunday in Saudi Arabia.

Paul and Tommy Fury are finally set to box on Sunday in a massive fight for both men’s careers. It has been a fight both men have wanted as both are confident they will win by KO. Although Paul is confident, Flores believes his fighter will make a statement and surprise a lot of people with his performance.

โ€œJake is extremely committed to making a statement on February 26th. ย He has sacrificed everything to be at his best in less than two weeks and we are only days away. ย There is nothing left to say. 2023 will be a massive year for Jake,โ€ Flores told BoxingScene.com. “All is good. Training camp has been excellent. Jake is in tremendous shape. This fight will be a real surprise to a lot of boxing fans. Grab your popcorn and watch the show he puts on.โ€

Although Flores has been getting all the attention for Paul’s career but he says a lot of credit goes to Danny Smith who is the co-trainer.

โ€œDanny and I have almost 20 years history together and Danny is one of the greatest boxing minds I know. Danny has been crucial to Jakeโ€™s development and we are only getting better,โ€ said Flores.

Jake Paul (6-0) is coming off the biggest win of his career as he scored a decision win over Anderson Silva. Prior to that, he had back-to-back wins over Tyron Woodley, including the second being by KO. He also has stoppage wins over Ben Askren, Nate Robinson, and AnEsonGib.

Tommy Fury (8-0) hasn’t fought professionally since April of 2022 but did have an exhibition match against Rolly Lambert in November. Fury also has wins over Anthony Taylor and Jordan Grant among others.
