Frank Warren Provides Update On Possibility of Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury

Frank Warren is still hoping to make Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury.

Paul and Fury were supposed to fight last December but Fury was forced out of the bout due to an injury and an infection. Paul then rematched Tyron Woodley and scored a big KO win but the YouTuber-turned-boxer has not fought since then. With that, many are wondering who he will face on August 13 which he says is his return date, and for Warren, he hopes it will be the Fury fight.

“We have got a couple of things we are working on at the moment, we have got to announce something soon because he has itchy feet,” Warren told iFL TV. “He wants to get out there he wants to be out in the next few months so we will work something out. I still want to do the fight with Jake and I would still like to get that on. It is still realistic from our end but who knows from their end, but of course we would like to see that happen. There was a few discussions initially but we will see what happens.”

Although Frank Warren and Tommy Fury want the fight, Jake Paul has said he didn’t know if he’d make the fight again given the Brit pulled out of the first fight. But, if the fight is made it would be massive and would tell a lot about both of their careers and how good both of them are.

Jake Paul is currently 5-0 as a pro boxer with two wins over Woodley, a KO win over Askren, Nate Robinson, and a TKO win over AnEsonGib.

Tommy Fury, meanwhile, is 8-0 and picked up a decision win over Daniel Bocianski on the Fury-Whyte undercard back in April.
