Jake Paul calls Gervonta Davis boring in press conference battle

Jake Paul called Gervonta Davis boring in the midst of their heated press conference earlier this week.

As we know, Jake Paul will collide with Gervonta Davis in an exhibition boxing match later this year. While many people have been clowning on this due to the size difference between the two men, you can bet that many, many fans – and critics – are going to tune in to see it.

Jake Paul has been looking for an opponent of this magnitude for a while and with the Anthony Joshua fight not happening, he turned his attention to Gervonta Davis. There’s a real split at this moment in time regarding how the fight is going to go, although once again, the size gap is notable.

In the aforementioned press conference, Jake Paul had the following to say straight to the face of Gervonta Davis.

Gervonta Davis: “I want to put on a great show on November 14th and show him what I’m about,” said Tank during Tuesday’s press conference in Miami, Florida. 

Jake Paul: “What do you think is going to happen in the fight?” 

Gervonta: “We’ll see.” 

Jake: “Yeah, you’re boring as f***. My whole family was texting me. I want to apologize to the audience for this guy. 

Gervonta: “I’ll kick your a** for real. You just play around just regular.” 

Jake: “That’s what we want, entertainment.”

It feels like Davis is putting a lot on the line here, even if this is only an exhibition. The same is true for Jake, although it’s not quite clear as to what kind of agreement is in place between the two men when it comes to how hard they’re going to go.

Regardless, it should be interesting to watch.
