Regis Prograis Calls For Mikey Garcia Fight Next: ‘Make It Happen’

Prograis

If it wasn’t clear enough, Regis Prograis wants to fight Mikey Garcia.

Prograis is coming off a sixth-round TKO win over Ivan Redkach in April. Garcia, meanwhile, earned his first win at welterweight with a unanimous decision verdict over Jessie Vargas in February last year.

But despite that, Prograis wants Garcia at 140 pounds and believes it’s the fight everyone wants to see as he took to Twitter on Thursday.

“I want to fight @mikeygarcia NEXT. He says he want the fight, I want the fight, his brother Robert wants the fight, my side wants the fight, the Mexican fans want the fight, the people in New Orleans want the fight, the English fans want the fight. MAKE IT HAPPEN.”

It’s certainly a great fight, especially with Prograis not believing the likes of Adrien Broner or Gervonta Davis want any part of him.

Adrien Broner don’t want no parts of me. So Mikey Garcia says he wants to fight, I want the fight, I talked to Robert Garcia, his brother, he says he’s interested in the fight. I think a lot of people are interested in the fight so maybe Mikey Garcia might be next,” Prograis said on Wednesday (via Bad Left Hook).

“Tank ain’t gonna come nowhere close to me, I can guarantee — I can fuckin’ guarantee you Tank ain’t gonna fight me, bro, ‘cause I’m beat his ass. I’ma fuck him up, that’s why…It ain’t no personal beef, I don’t even know Tank. I don’t know him personally or nothing like that so it’s boxing beef. I think I can fuck him up, he think he can fuck me up, so let’s see what he does with Mario Barrios first.

“I think he should be able to beat Barrios. I definitely think he should beat Barrios but it will be a tough fight for him.”
