Report: Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin Set For October 30

Dillian Whyte‘s next fight is set.

As per Boxing Scene, the perennial heavyweight contender has agreed to terms for a fight with Otto Wallin.

It is set to take place October 30 at the O2 Arena in London, England, with Whyte notably defending his WBC interim heavyweight title against the Swede in the DAZN main event.

Whyte most recently earned revenge and earned his WBC interim heavyweight title back after knocking out Alexander Povetkin in March.

Whyte was previously knocked out by Povetkin in their first meeting in August last year.

Wallin, meanwhile, is on a two-fight winning streak and is coming off wins over Travis Kauffman and Dominic Breazeale.

The 30-year-old notably lost a unanimous decision to current WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury back in September 2019.

The winner of the fight could stake a claim for the heavyweight title next — provided the winner of the Fury vs. Deontay Wilder fight goes on to fight the winner of the Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk.

In reality, they might be waiting a while though.
