Tyson Fury Reveals Four-Fight Plan Post Deontay Wilder Trilogy
Tyson Fury has mapped out his future in terms of the fights that he wants.
Fury will defend his WBC heavyweight championship against Deontay Wilder in their trilogy fight next month in Las Vegas.
Should he come out on top, many observers are hoping he will face Anthony Joshua next in a title unification clash — provided the latter gets past Oleksandr Usyk later this month.
However, Fury has other ideas as he revealed his four-fight plan post Wilder.
“I have my next four fights lined up,โ Fury told BT Sport Boxing (via Metro). “Iโm going to destroy Wilder in October. Then Iโm going to take my next fight in December because of all the inactivity. Because I donโt think the Joshua fight is going to happen in December.
“Iโll fight Dillian Whyte back in UK for the first time in years, up the north somewhere, Manchester or something. In December. Letโs get a date for December and Iโll shut that bum right up. That will be an easy one.
“Then Iโll fight Joshua in February or March time, out in Saudi Arabia, letโs do it. We can have a rematch in the summer back at Wembley. Then we can go out in my fifth fight, and Iโll fight Dereck Chisora, that is five fights.”
Fury didn’t stop there either.
“And then, Iโll take two years out of the ring, just going absolutely nuts again, and Iโll come back at 37 and wipe the floor with whoever is next.”
An ambitious plan, but a plan nonetheless.
