Video: Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder Have 5-Minute Staredown Ahead Of Trilogy

Fury Wilder

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder may have broken a world record for the longest staredown.

The pair are set to collide in a trilogy fight taking place July 24 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Many didn’t expect this fight to happen, especially with Wilder’s rematch clause supposedly expiring and all the excuses he put out which led to Fury claiming he would never fight him again.

However, an arbitrator had other ideas as he ruled that Wilder was obligated to a third meeting.

And so, now we’re here with a press conference taking place Tuesday to promote the trilogy. Compared to previous press conferences, this one was devoid of entertainment or trash talk.

Wilder only made an opening statement before refusing to answer any further questions.

However, the faceoff was undoubtedly the biggest moment of the conference as the pair stared each other down for well over five minutes.

You can watch it below:

While it’s not the fight everyone expected, it still promises to be an explosive affair.
