Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk Title Fight Sells Out in 24 Hours

Tickets for the heavyweight title fight between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk next month have sold out almost instantly.

The pair are set to collide for Joshua’s heavyweight titles on September 25 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England.

And with over 100,000 fans waiting in StubHub ticket queue to purchase tickets, it didn’t take long for the event to be sold out.

In fact, it took just 24 hours as per Matchroom Boxing (via Michael Benson).

Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk tickets have sold out within the first 24 hours, Matchroom have announced. Fight taking place in front of 60,000+ at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Sept 25th.”

This isn’t all that surprising.

After all, Joshua is a global star and arguably the second biggest draw in the sport after Canelo Alvarez.

His pay-per-view numbers as well as the number of arenas he’s sold out certainly speak to that fact.

“🏟️ Venues Anthony Joshua has sold out:

🇬🇧 Wembley Stadium, London – 90,000

🇬🇧 Principality Stadium, Cardiff – 78,000

🇬🇧 Tottenham Stadium, London – 60,000

🇬🇧 Manchester Arena – 21,000

🇬🇧 O2 Arena, London – 20,000

🇺🇸 MSG, New York – 20,000

🇸🇦 Diriyah Arena – 15,000″

With a win over Usyk, Joshua could be in store for his biggest fight yet if his next opponent ends up being the winner of Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder 3.

But first, he has to get past Usyk.
