As we know, Ryan Garcia likes to play by his own rules. He does things at his own pace and he never apologizes for it. In the last few years especially, he’s taken on an entirely new kind of persona, which has raised more than a few eyebrows within the boxing community. Alas, he’s still fascinating to watch inside the ring, and he proved that when he was able to defy the odds and defeat Devin Haney.

Unfortunately, the win didn’t say in the record books for too long, with Ryan Garcia’s triumph being stripped from him as a result of a positive drug test. He has disputed the legitimacy of this on multiple occasions, but it currently stands as a no contest.

In a recent interview, Ryan Garcia wasn’t shy when letting his feelings about the situation be known to the world.

โ€œI felt that I won the fight no matter what. I think that was setup in case they lost. Thatโ€™s how I truly feel,โ€ said Ryan to Ring Magazine, talking his conspiracy theory about his fight against Devin Haney and his subsequent positive test for a banned PED afterwards. โ€œWhat rubs me the wrong way was how his brother knew that I was going to test positive.โ€
