From 2006 to 2018, Chaozhong competed in the light flyweight and mini flyweight divisions in the sport’s top promotions. He earned multiple region titles from 2008 to 2012 and was considered one of the best mini flyweight boxers within Asia.
The biggest win of Xiong’s career came in November of 2012 in Dubai. On this fight card, Chaozhong won the vacant WBC Mini Flyweight Championship to become the first Chinese world boxing champion in history.
The Chinese champion defended his belt twice before losing it and later won more region mini flyweight titles before retiring. Xiong Chaozhong will forever go down in history as the first Chinese world boxing champion in history.
Zou Shiming is another one of the best boxer’s from China. Shiming is the second Chinese boxer to win a major world title.
Before Zou was a pro, he was a top amateur boxer, who is a x Olympic gold medalist. After his stellar amateur career, Zou went on to have a successful pro career.
He was able to win the WBO Flyweight World Championship in 2016 and hold the belt for a year. After losing the belt in 2017, Zou retired from fighting, but will go down in history as a Chinese boxing legend.
